TERMS OF SERVICE for RANCHOWEB

Please read the following information before you continue on to the registration form. Use of this website constitutes agreement to the policies stated below!

Using the automated image uploading system is a real time saver over the traditional method of emailing your pictures to somebody and then waiting for them to process them and send the URL's back to you. Now you can get your URL's automatically, and list your items right away!

There are a couple things that are necessary before we begin, however. (The following 3 items only apply if you are using my system to upload pictures. If you just want access to counters and the Fancy Ad Generator, you shouldn't have any problems no matter which browser you use!)

You must be using a compatible browser. Netscape 3.0 and above and Internet Explorer 4.0 and above have been tested and work just fine. If you are not using one of these browsers, DOWNLOAD THEM! THEY ARE FREE! Just follow these links: Netscape * Microsoft IE
WebTV users can use the system, but it requires a slight modification in the HTML code that they need to put in their auctions. If you are comfortable making these modifications, basically just typing in exactly what I tell you, then please continue! If you use my Fancy Ad Generator to start your auctions, you need not enter any special code, because my system will do it for you! Click Here for special instructions for WebTV users!
You must know how to scan and compress your pictures so that they are in JPG/JPEG/GIF format and they are under 150KB in size. I highly recommend that you make your pictures less than 50KB in size, because the smaller the file size, the quicker your pictures load, which makes it more likely that someone will actually wait to see your picture and bid on your items! There are many good programs that you can use for this purpose, one of the best that I have found is called LView Pro. It is fast and easy to learn.

Legal and Billing Stuff

ranchoweb.com is providing this service free of warranty. Due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that this service will work and that your pictures will be available at all times. Of course, we strive to provide the best service possible, but downtime is a part of any computer's lifetime.
You agree to hold ranchoweb.com harmless in the event of a server outage that affects the outcome of one of your auctions.
We do allow ADULT images to be uploaded, but you must check the box on the upload form stating that you are uploading ADULT images. I can only host these images on certain servers. Any ADULT images found on unauthorized servers will be deleted without warning, and your account will be cancelled! (Any images featuring underage models will be forwarded to the FBI, along with all of your account information)
